Dry Body Brushing

During facials, I always get the question, “My face is in great shape, I know what do do there, but what about the rest of my body?” We’re here to help! Dry body brushing is a way to brush your way to Glowing Skin. While drinking water and using a daily moisturizer or body oil are also key, dry body brushing can get your skin “moving”. Dry Body Brushing is a traditional natural health practice, that involves using a dry body brush over dry skin preferably after the shower. This is recommended daily.

What are the benefits?

Lymph Drainage and Body Detox:

Lymph is a very slow moving fluid that assists in removing metabolic waste and dead skin cells from our internal system and return it to the bloodstream.  When we Dry Body brush we increases circulation by stimulating the nerves that run just below the skins surface and increase the elimination process and helps rid the body of toxins.

Cellulite and Premature Aging:

Cellulite is related, in part, to local vein and lymph congestion. With proper dry skin brushing the metabolism can speed up breaking down fatty deposits or toxins in the blood stream removing waste and helping reduce the appearance.

Brushing also improves, general allover health by sloughing away dead skin cells, increase circulation to help prevent premature aging, skin wrinkles all while boosting the bodies natural immune system.

Brushing even increases oxygen to the body that brings mental clarity and focus or relieves muscle tension and headaches.

Makes the skin GLOW:

Warning: Regular Body Brushing may not only may your skin glow but improve your overall health, clarity and help detoxify the body.

Exfoliates, stimulates, detoxifies, strengthens, alleviates vein and tissue congestion and even the gentle brushing of the connective tissue helps to regenerate production of collagen and elastin fibers.

It even prepares the skin for the next step allowing healthy body lotions and potions adsorb more affectively into the body.
